THE BETTER EVIDENCE UPTODATE DONATION APPLICATION PORTAL IS OPEN!

 

All applicants will now be required to verify their identity using a government-issued photo identification, verify their email address by clicking on an email link, and to provide proof of employment. Institutional or organizational email addresses are preferred and will allow for expedited review. 

 

IMPORTANT:

  • Have your ID and proof of employment ready before entering the application. 
  • Submit your application within 30 days of starting it. Incomplete applications left idle beyond 30 days may be locked and you may not be eligible to reapply for 9 months. We recommend completing and submitting your application as soon as possible to avoid losing access.
  • Refrain from using Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs to generate an automatic response to application questions. If use of AI is suspected, this may result in a longer application review process.

Please login to your existing account. If you no longer have access to the email address you originally used to apply, you must update it when you log in before submitting your renewal application.

Eligibility

To qualify for a free UpToDate subscription, you must:

  • Be a physician, nurse, physician's assistant, pharmacist, or medical student outside of the United States.
  • Volunteer/work for a public or non-profit entity.*
  • Verify your email address and employment status.
  • Verify your identity through a third party site using government-issued ID and selfie.
  • Have at least intermittent internet access.
  • Be able to complete the application in English.
  • Explain how your work directly aligns with our program aim.
  • Verify that neither you nor your institution can afford UpToDate.**

All candidates who meet these eligibility criteria will be granted a free UpToDate subscription.

*For-profit organizations are not eligible to apply.

**UpToDate has a tiered pricing structure for countries outside of the United States and provides discounted rates for groups as well as residents, students, and other physicians in training.
